JSPS Guidance Seminar in Biratnagar

The JSPS Guidance Seminar was organized on January 18, 2019 at the Samikxya Hall of Mahendra Morang Adarsha Multiple Campus Tribhuvan University, Biratnagar of Province No. 1 of Nepal in the gracious presence of the Campus Chief of Central Campus of Technology, Tribhuban University, Dharan, the Campus Chief of Purbanchal School of Engineering and Technology, Purbanchal University, Biratnagar, the Campus Chief of Post Graduate Campus, Tribhibhuban University of Nepal, and the Acting Campus Chief of Mahendra Morang Adarsha Multiple Campus (MMAMC), Tribhuban Uiversity, Biratnagar. The Acting Campus Chief of MMAMC, had chaired the program and was moderated by Dr. Tulashi Niraula, Associate Professor of MMAMC.

Dr. Rabindra Prasad Dhakal, an Executive Committee Member of NJAA, gave the main presentation of the guidance seminar by highlighting the activities and collaborative works of JSPS with Nepal. Then, the participants were actively engaged with their questions and curiosities about JSPS in their respective field and shared some of their grievances while searching the Japanese host professors. They are also expecting more help from NJAA and Bangkok Office in future and asked to circulate the presentation file among the participants, which was duly done on the same day.

Finally, the Campus Chief of Central Campus Technology, TU, Dharan gave his special remarks thanking JSPS’s role in supporting the Nepali scholars so far and expecting more support in the future. He said that the faculty members of the Campus were engaged in different research fields and they may ask for more help from both NJAA and JSPS office in the near future. He thanked NJAA and Dr. Rabindra Prasad Dhakal for hosting such informative and supportive event in Biratnagar. The Chairman of the session thanked NJAA for choosing the venue and providing the benefit of the JSPS guidance to the faculty members.
